On Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at 8 pm in the Lebanon High School Auditorium, the Cedar Creek Community Band will perform our Winter Concert with special guest soloist Buddy Deshler.
Dr. Deshler is an Assistant Professor of Music at Furman University in Greenville, SC, where he teaches applied trumpet to the Furman Trumpet Studio, chamber ensembles, and music entrepreneurship and is also an endorsing artist for XO Brass trumpets, Denis Wick mouthpieces and mutes, and Smith Watkins cornets. You can read more about his many accomplishments at https://www.bdeshler.com/bio
This appearance of XO Artist Buddy Deshler has been made possible, in part, through an educational grant from the KHS America Academic Alliance and XO Brass. Buddy performs exclusively on XO Brass trumpets.
The Cedar Creek Community Band is an all-volunteer group of musicians of all ages that has been performing in Wilson County since 2009. Admission is free but donations are accepted and always greatly appreciated!
